Being One With Nature

I've been outside most of today.  Got up before 5 am to go fishing up at Red Rock Lake in Pella.  My nephew actually caught more fish.  :P  I guess I was too busy looking around trying to find things I can take pictures of.  After I was done in Pella, I went home and took a short nap.

Saylorville Lake and Big Creek was my next destination after I got some rest.  It was quite windy today so I couldn't stay long.  Well, time to go pass out.  I'm falling asleep as I'm typing right now.

Location: Red Rock Lake - Pella, Iowa
A random plant that was sticking up right next to the place I was fishing.

Windows down as I was cruising in the car.  I was the passenger and not the driver.  :)
Location: Big Creek - Polk City, Iowa
A secluded area of the park.  It kind of have an Amazon look to it.

This would have been a good place to sit and chill but it was too windy and  chilly today.

I was waiting for the wind to blow a bit harder so I could get the grass bending a bit more.  But I couldn't wait since I had to go to the restroom.

Log I was standing on was a bit shaky, was worried that I was going to fall in.  My brother took this one.
